Farm Day is a Work Day on Liberation Farm. It is an opportunity for you to learn farming skills and volunteer for liberation. Farm Day can serve as just another day in community organizing or your very first introduction to working and learning in a Black space. Farm Day is happening on Liberation Farm.
The types of farm day work includes
Composting waste, Raking, Tilling & Digging Germinating, Propagating & Sowing Seeds Cleaning & Trash Pickup, Transporting material on the property. Other work include cooking, security or teaching a workshop. Depending upon the exchange volunteers are unpaid.
What is the Farm Day contingency plan should we not meet? Should the weather be too frigid, hurricane winds or too much rain, we will reschedule for a later date.
